It might seem as we’ve got a long way to go, until Amsterdam International Water Week 2021, but time flies and a thorough prep is key. Pepijn van Loon, Assistant Program Manager AIWW 2021, gives an update of what keeps the AIWW 2021 team busy: “We are currently in the process of finalizing the theme and subthemes for AIWW 2021. The last months were spent on evaluating the results of the previous AIWW, held in 2019, and interviewing the Program Advisory Committee Members. These insights formed the mindset for the new theme, which we will present in October. Shortly after, in November, we will make a call for content for anyone who would like to introduce workshops and research, related to the main theme or subthemes. As a community member, you help us by sending any ideas for improvements for the next conference. What can we do to make it more in-depth and interesting for our community?”
