9th IWA International Conference on Benchmarking and Performance Assessment
About the conference
The IWA Benchmarking and Performance Assessment Specialist Group (SG BPA) presents and discusses benchmarking- and performance assessment experiences and -projects around the world. Since 2007, this serie of PI-conferences is a traditional, biennal forum to exchange ideas and methodologies. The next edition, PI2023, will take place in parallel with the Amsterdam International Water Week on 7 & 8 November 2023 and is co-organised with IWC (International Water Conferences).
New in PI2023 will be performance assessment in regulatory frameworks and novel topics such as how to measure sustainability in the water sector and other aspects related to a water sector in transition.

Why present?
Submitting a paper for PI2023 will provide an opportunity to present to a global audience of world-leading water professionals, to exchange ideas, explore the state of the art and debate key issues. It will also provide an opportunity for publication in a leading international peer reviewed journal.
Call for Papers for PI2023
Abstract Submission
Applicants are invited to submit an abstract (up to 500 words in English) featuring contributions to knowledge or case studies with value for practitioners facing similar problems elsewhere. All papers submitted will be peer-reviewed by the programme committee.
Abstracts must be received by 30 July 2023.

Details of the conference
The PI2023 conference will take place in the RAI Exhibition Centre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Dates: 7 and 8 November 2023
Amsterdam is well connected to many other countries by road, train and air.
PI2023 participants will have the opportunity to also register for Amsterdam International Water Week (AIWW2023) and, on top of that, visit Aquatech, the world’s leading water trade show for process-, drinking- and wastewater. The 7th edition of AIWW will take place from 6 to 9 November 2023 and covers an Integrated Leaders Forum, a two-day conference, site visits and a conference dinner.
As a PI2023 participant you can also attend the AIWW conference dinner in Amsterdam and meet with water professionals from all over the world.”
