Current Position: Executive Director of the Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM)
Profile: She has a broad academic background with a PhD in Integrated Water Resources Engineering. She is particularly passionate about impactful research and has been recognised for her extensive and successful partnerships with the water industry in the UK and the Dutch water sector. Her policy-driven research drove her to seek a policy-intensive role, which led her to join ERIM as Policy Officer in 2018. She was the former Future Water Leaders AIWW Ambassador 2019. Her passion for water challenges and cultural identities has motivated her to become a Programme Officer for the Wetskills Foundation. She has created the ‘Water Identity’ concept, as a tool to improve communication and international collaborative actions in the water sector.
Expertise: Integrated Water Resources Engineering, sanitation and wastewater and stormwater management, hybrid cloud computing approach for managing spatial data, water quality and management at a river basin level and water supply.
