Profile: He has worked as a journalist and in corporate finance before acquiring Global Water Intelligence and developing an information services business in the water sector. He was also previously the Managing Director of Media Analytics and Partner for Amane Advisors. He was also the Chairman, Global Water Leaders Group, a CEO level organization for utility leaders around the world.
He is an authority on water finance and markets. After a degree in politics and economics at Oxford University, he worked as a financial journalist and investment banker, before acquiring Global Water Intelligence in 2002. Over the past five years, he has written and contributed to a number of specialist reports on the water sector, including Municipal Water Reuse Markets 2010, Desalination Market 2010, and Global Water Market 2011. He is also Publisher of the Water Desalination Report, the IDA Worldwide Desalting Plant Inventory and DesalData.
