President at the European Youth Parliament for Water
Hasmik is a professional in solar energy and environmental management fields. As president of European Youth Parliament for Water (EYPW) she has committed to support young water leaders to pursue their concrete local actions for common water issues at European scale and beyond. She has a specific focus on gender mainstreaming in environmental projects, as well as on development of energy and water policies and regulations.
Hasmik holds a MBA from Université de Nantes, France (2012-2013). She was a fellow of the US State Department PFP exchange program at the Oregon State Capitol (2018) contributing to the work of environmental and renewable energy committees. She was a post-graduate fellow in Environmental management at TU-Dresden, Germany (2019), where she did comparative research-study on policy making in solar energy.
Prior to that, Hasmik led a foundation in Armenia and implemented a number of solar projects aiming at community development, and now she carries out that mission in the Women in Climate and Energy.

Affiliated to a number of international and local organizations: board member of the International Secretariat for Water, member of the World Energy Council Future Energy Leaders programme, and recently joined the UN World Water Quality Alliance.
