During the closing session of AIWW 2019, former AIWW’s Future Water Leader Ambassador Chrysoula Papacharalampou transferred the baton to Eleanor Treadwell.

The Future Water Leaders (FWL) play a key role in the organisation of the Amsterdam International Water Week. The Ambassador is the voice of all Future Water Leaders and will make sure the Future Generation of people working in the water sector is heard.

The last two years, Chrysoula Papacharalampou has done an excellent job. She has now transferred the baton to Eleanor Treadwell.

New Future Water Leaders Ambassador of the Amsterdam International Water Week, Eleanor Treadwell:

“It is with great pleasure that I look to my next adventures as the Future Water Leader Ambassador 2021. With this role, I intend to continue the dedication and hard work of outgoing Ambassador Chrysoula Papacharalampou, who has paved the way for young professionals to participate, as we should, in the international water and climate conversation. As we (and by we I mean everyone) move forward towards realising the Sustainable Development Goals, we should remember to learn from the past whilst keeping a fun and positive perspective with which to communicate and implement holistic solutions. For me, these solutions should capture the mind but also capture the soul. Water that comes with a story to enchant, entrance, engage and motivate everyone is what I would like to contribute during my time as Ambassador.”
